Public Notice The City of Davenport Water Pollution Control Plant is required by Federal regulations [40 CFR 403.8(f)(2)(viii)] to provide annual public notice of all regulated industrial users who are found to be in Significant Non-Compliance with Industrial Pretreatment Program requirements. The following industrial users were determined to be in significant non-compliance at some point during the January 1 through December 31, 2017 reporting period. Industrial User SNC Violation Status Quest Liner 550 W. Mayne St. Blue Grass, IA 52761 Exceeded monthly average Oil & Grease mg/L permit limits at TRC evaluation levels during the months of October and December 2017 Quest Liner is in the process of addressing the cause of the Oil and Grease violations. They have until 2/28/2018 to come into compliance. Aleris (Nichols) Aluminum Rolling Plant 1725 Rockingham Rd. Davenport, IA 52802 Exceeded monthly average Total Chromium lbs/day permit limits at TRC evaluation levels during the months of July and August 2017 Aleris addressed the Chromium issue and was back in compliance by September 2017. Kraft Heinz Company-Davenport 9401 Granite Way Davenport, IA 52806 Exceeded Daily maximum and Monthly average BOD mg/L permit limits during the months of September-December 2017 Kraft Heinz is under an Administrative Order to develop and implement a compliance plan with a deadline to be in compliance by March 1, 2018.
