Dress for Success Quad Cities invites you to join
them for the third annual Recycle the Runway fashion
show. This is one of the organization’s key fundraisers
with 100% of the proceeds going to support their
year-round efforts to make a difference in the
lives of women working to achieve financial
independence and career success. This year’s
event will be held Thursday, April 6th from
5:30-9 p.m. at the iWireless Center in Moline. Tickets
can be purchased for $50 ($60 after April 1st) at
www.2017recycle-the-runway-qc.eventbrite.com.
Recycle the Runway is a night
of fashion, philanthropy and fun
where local designers compete
with outfits created from a bag of
randomly selected items donated
to Dress for Success Quad Cities
and deemed “unsuitable” for
the suiting program. A panel of
celebrity judges will choose 1st,
2nd, and 3rd place winners with
the top designer being awarded
a $500 cash prize. These unique
creations will then be auctioned off
to the highest bidder. The evening
will also feature a silent auction
with items donated from Quad
Cities businesses, local vendors,
and a cocktail hour with heavy
appetizers and a cash bar.
