Teachers split between Obama, Edwards

Not long after Iowa State Education Association President Linda Nelson announced she is backing Barack Obama, a dozen teachers who serve in leadership roles at ISEA were rolled out by the John Edwards campaign as supporters Wednesday.
Nelson, a fourth-grade teacher from Council Bluffs, called Obama “an honest person” and predicted he will win the Iowa caucuses and go on to become the party’s nominee.
