High water will not cancel this weekend’s “That was Then, This is Now” boat show in Muscatine, Iowa, but some activities have been modified, according to organizers.

Racing exhibitions have been canceled, although some boat racers will show boats and answer questions.

More paddleboat races have been added and will begin at 10 a.m., 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday. People 16 and older may compete in the paddleboat course, which is a lap around a buoy and back. Races begin at Steamboat Landing between Mississippi Harvest sculpture and Pearl City Station. Participants will vie for $100 and $50 purses for first- and second-place finishers.

Register for races at Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry office, 319 E. 2nd St., Suite 102, call (563) 263-8895, or

e-mail chamber@ uscatine.com.
