Men 40 years and older with overactive bladder symptoms that have not been controlled by alpha-blocker treatment alone are invited to participate in a University of Iowa research study.

The study focuses on whether an investigational medicine can reduce urinary frequency, urgency or incontinence when added to existing alpha-blocker treatment. Men with a history of interstitial cystitis or prostate cancer are not eligible to participate.

The University of Iowa is one of 180 sites taking part in the study. For more information, contact Mary Eno at (319) 384-9265 or Diane Meyerholz at (319) 384-5769.
