Red Cross plans health fair in RI

The American Red Cross of the Quad-Cities Area will host a Health and Safety Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 11, at the Century Woods Apartments Community Room, 1400 5th St., Rock Island.
The event will offer interactive activities involving nutrition and disaster preparedness, health and safety information, career counseling and fun activities for youth. Free blood pressure screenings will be available, and information will be provided on HIV/AIDS testing and counseling.
Personnel from the Rock Island-Milan School District also will be present to register children for school.
