Northern Iowa won Friday despite having no players score in double figures as a balanced offense powered the Panthers past Evansville 65-41.

Eleven players scored for Northern Iowa as the Panthers pulled away from the Aces in a game in which they only trailed for less than two minutes in the first quarter.

North Scott's Karli Rucker was one of three Panthers tied for the team lead with nine points. Kennedy Kirkpatrick and Abby Gerrits matched that total for UNI.

Northern Iowa also dominated on the boards, 50-38, with Megan Maahs' 14 leading the charge.

The rebounding helped the Panthers overcome shooting just 33.3 percent from the field and 25.6 percent from 3.

Evansville also struggled controlling the basketball, as 21 turnovers by the Aces led to 20 Panther points.
