The fourth Culver’s restaurant in the Quad-Cities is expected to open in mid-November in Cumberland Square, Bettendorf.

Mike Jones, one of the operating partners of the Culver’s in Muscatine, said he is one of the operating partners in the new store in Bettendorf.

“We are currently hiring. We are looking to hire 50 people, mostly part time,” he said. “I think it is a great location, by the middle school and high school, and you get a whole lot of parking because of Cumberland Square.”

Jones said he has two business partners who also will own the new restaurant, Scott Davis and Mitchell Pencil. Davis also is a partner in the 53rd Street, Davenport, restaurant in addition to Muscatine and Moline. Pencil is a partner in Moline, Muscatine and now Bettendorf.

Jones said they are renovating the former Fazoli’s restaurant that has been vacant for several years.

Featuring its ButterBurgers and fresh frozen custard, the first Culver’s opened in Wisconsin in 1984. There currently are more than 400 nationwide.
