Deere & Co. is voluntarily recalling about 4,650 John Deere Gator utility vehicles because of a fire hazard with the fuel line, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced today.
According to the commission, Deere has received three reports of separated fuel lines. No injuries have been reported.
The recall involves John Deere Gator RSX850i Base, Sport and Trail model recreational vehicles. The vehicles were manufactured between May and October 2012 and sold nationwide from August to October 2012. They feature side-by-side seating for two people and were available in Realtree Hardwoods HD Camo, olive and black or traditional green and yellow.
Only vehicles with these serial numbers are included in the recall: 1M0850TB++M010013 through 1M0850TB++M010768; 1M0850TS++M010001 through 1M0850TS++M011932; and 1M0850TT++M010001 through 1M0850TT++M012765. The serial number is on the rear frame above the receiver hitch.

Consumers are alerted to stop using the recalled utility vehicles and contact a John Deere dealer to schedule a free inspection and free repair. Deere is contacting all registered owners of the recalled utility vehicles.
