Plato’s Closet is looking for Quad-City teens and 20-somethings to clean out the excess stylish clothing from their closets and dressers to help stock the new Davenport store.

Plato’s Closet, 5254 Elmore Ave., opened Monday to buy merchandise in anticipation of the store’s actual opening in about six to eight weeks.

Plato’s Closet is part of a national recycling retail store chain specializing in gently used clothing and accessories for teens and young adults. The new location is one of 320 Plato’s Closet stores in the United States and Canada.

The store is owned by Angela and Brandon Jones, who also own stores in Madison, Wis.; Rockford, Ill.; and Fort Wayne, Ind.
