RE/MAX Elite Homes and RE/MAX Elite Homes QC have posted a record year with more than $163 million in total sales volume, announced Richard Bassford, the franchises' broker/owner.
Sales for the sister franchises grew by 44 percent over the year from $113 million in 2016.
Applauding the significant growth, Bassford said "I am very proud of our agents and our managers and other personnel for developing awesome training and support to make our agents successful."
RE/MAX Elite Homes opened its doors in 2015 at 1485 41st St., Moline, with one agent. Since then, the brokerage has grown to 26 agents and added a second office, RE/MAX Elite Homes QC, at 3709 N. Harrison St., Davenport. The agents sell primarily residential real estate throughout the Quad-Cities and surrounding region.
Tom Bracey, the co-managing broker for the Davenport office, said much of the 2017 sales increase was due to the growth in agents.
LuAnn Levine, the managing broker in Moline, was named RE/MAX Managing Broker of the Year for the Illinois Area Region at a RE/MAX awards ceremony last month. Several other agents received production awards.
The Davenport office, part of the Iowa/Nebraska region, is led by Managing Broker Kim Broders and Bracey. The office's agents will receive production awards at the region's awards event this month.
Looking ahead, Bassford said he sees another great year in 2018. "Competitively priced homes in good condition will continue to sell quickly," he said.
