Realtors across the Quad-Cities will be hard at work today participating in the second annual Realtors Care & Share Day.

Quad-City Area Realtor Association members will be beautifying a stretch of Interstate 74 near the Duck Creek/Middle Road corridor in Iowa. Volunteers also will collect trash along John Deere Road near SouthPark Mall, Moline.

Other projects include cleanup efforts and activities at Center for Active Seniors Inc., or CASI, in Davenport, and spending time with residents at Riverview Manor Nursing Home, Pleasant Valley.

“The purpose of this day is to highlight the many ways that Realtors donate their time and passions to help make our communities a better place,” said Amie Burke, event organizer. “If we can pay if forward and help out in small ways, then maybe we can spark others to do the same.”

The day will conclude with a luncheon at the association's office Bettendorf.
