This NAMI Homefront education class will focus on effectively supporting and advocating for a loved one diagnosed with a mental health condition including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Traumatic Brain Injury. Course topics will include family response to trauma, diagnosis and dealing with critical periods, problem solving, communications skills and self-care for caregivers.
