1. Bucktown Revue fundraiser for Creative Arts Academy

The Bucktown Revue is a variety show, done in the style of "A Prairie Home Companion," typically presented on the third Friday of each month from September to May. You can see the Bucktown Revue this weekend for a special fundraiser benefiting the Creative Arts Academy. The variety show is set for 7 p.m. Friday at the new Central High School Performing Arts Center, 1120 Main St., Davenport. 2. Big Daddy Weave

Big Daddy Weave, a Christian music group currently on its "Set Free" tour, along with openers We Are Messengers and Micah Tyler will be performing at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Adler Theatre, 136 E. 3rd St., Davenport. 3. ‘Dirty Dancing’ live

Ever wanted to see the classic movie, “Dirty Dancing” on stage? This weekend, you have two chances to see "Dirty Dancing" live — and hear tunes such as  “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life" — at the Adler Theatre in downtown Davenport. 4. 'Home Team Tour'

See the Florida-based Christian rapper KB as well as Christian artist Trip Lee, currently on their "Home Team Tour" this weekend at Harvest Bible Chapel, 3800 E. 53rd St., Davenport. The concert, presented by area Chik-fil-A restaurants, is set for 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. Get tickets for $15 in advance at harvestdavenport.org or at any area Chik-fil-A restaurant. On the day of the concert, tickets go up to $20. All proceeds will go to YouthHope, an area youth outreach ministry. 

5. Diamonds & Divas Ladies' Night

Check out the Diamonds & Divas Ladies' Night, an evening of food, drinks and entertainment benefiting the Gilda's Club of the Quad-Cities and NormaLeah Ovarian Cancer Initiative, this weekend. It's slated for 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Figge Art Museum, 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport. For tickets, $40 per person, and more info, visit gildasclubqc.org

6. Smooth Jazz Fall Festival 

Check out the Smooth Jazz Fall Festival, featuring music from saxophonist Eric Darius, this weekend. Darius has shared the stage with artists such as Prince, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, David Foster and Carlos Santana. The concert, presented by Great Sounds Promotions, is set for Saturday at the Redstone Room, 129 N. Main St., Davenport.
