Adults looking to let their inner child loose this Halloween can participate in a Muppet-themed bar crawl.

The only requirement to participate is dressing in Jim Henson-related attire. Bar crawl participants will meet at the McDonald's on the corner of 11th Street and 31st Avenue in Rock Island at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

From there, VIP Transportation will take the Muppet crew to the Bier Stube, Bent River Brewing Company and Wide Open Bar and Grill in Moline, and then the Commodore Tap, Dam View Inn and Shenanigans in Davenport.

A costume contest will be held at Wide Open, with a $100 prize going to the winner.

The cost to participate is $25. Registration is required by 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at (309) 716-2571. Participants must be 21 years or older.
