Show to see - The Quad-City-based touring band Strange Neighbors will take the stage Saturday night at the Redstone Room, 129 N. Main St., Davenport.

The band draws on rock, reggae, funk, blues and bluegrass influences to create its original music. The show starts at 9 p.m. Cover is $5. For more information, visit www.redstoneroom.com or www.strangeneighbors.com on the Web.

For the family - The 11th annual Noogiefest features Halloween fun appropriate for all ages. There will be crafts, games and other activities for children.

Noogiefest will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Gilda's Club, 1234 E. River Drive, Davenport. Costumes are encouraged but not required. The event is free.

For teens - The Davenport Public Library and Figge Art Museum have teamed up to create an afternoon of anime for Quad-City teens. There will be a cosplay costume contest, an art show of teen-produced anime, a comic swap and teen-produced music videos.

The program is open to ages 12-18 years and begins at noon Sunday, Oct. 18, at the Figge, 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport. The cost to attend is $5.
