Joe Kopacz, an Old Chicago regular, on the selection of nachos on the bar's happy hour menu:
"I absolutely abhor normal nachos, I don't like them at all. The Italian nachos and mozzarella cheese and pepperoncinis and the flour chips are very good. I love them."
For teens
Young adults can chat about anything from "Star Wars" to "Twilight" to LEGOs during the Nerdposium at the Bettendorf Public Library. The group meets at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in the Junior League Room. The library is at 2950 Learning Campus Drive, Bettendorf.

The Quad-City Rollers will host their last home bout of the season at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at the RiverCenter, 136 E. 3rd St., Davenport.
