East Moline recording label Nail in the Coffin Records is hosting a Halloween showcase tonight at Mixtapes in East Moline.

Quad-City artists Fatima Blush, X+X, Rels, DJ Dub Pilot and STM are the Nail in the Coffin representatives for the show. The acts vary in style from hip-hop to noise, and some plan to play a few Halloween-themed covers to get the crowd in the holiday mood.

The all-ages show starts at 7 p.m. at Mixtapes, 832 15th St., East Moline. Costumes are encouraged, and with five bands on the bill for $5, the show should be an inexpensive way to support local music and have a little Halloween fun at the same time.
