Comedy icon Bill Cosby will play the Adler Theatre in Davenport for the first time in 15 years when he returns Saturday, April 27.

Tickets are $71, $58 and $46, and they will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at TicketMaster outlets, including the Adler box office, by telephone at 800-745-3000 and online at TicketMaster.com.

The comedian-turned-actor, TV host, author, educator and crusader previously played the Adler in 1991 and 1998. A scheduled date in 2003 was canceled.

Now 75, Cosby’s comedy career began 50 years ago when he was a college student in Philadelphia. His landmark “Cosby Show” aired from 1984 to 1992 and was the top-rated network TV show for five seasons.
