A coffee shop is often defined by the coffee-shop music it plays. That goes for the multicultural soundtrack you might hear while ordering a coffee at Redband Coffee Company.
The Davenport coffee spot gets its name from something called the Bean Belt, a specific area between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, where coffee plants grow best.
We know that different countries produce different flavors of coffees, but what might coffee-shop music sound like from around the world?
Isabelle Fincher, a Redband barista, was on a quest to find out. She built a playlist of 10 songs rooting from places around the Bean Belt, including Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia and beyond.
So, grab a coffee and take a trip around the Bean Belt with these songs.
