The idea of Sunday brunch took off quickly for the Bass Street Chop House in Moline, which began serving it during the first weekend of November.

“There’s not many brunch options that we saw on this side of the river,” general manager Jeff Harrop said.

The quality of the food sets Bass Street — which opened in June 2006 — apart, he said.

“Everything, everything we do is made from scratch,” he added.
