1. Country couple
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, currently on their Soul2Soul World Tour, are making a stop in the Quad-Cities this weekend. The country music couple recently paired up on a single, "Speak To A Girl" and you can expect to hear McGraw's hits, such as "Humble and Kind," and "Live Like You Were Dying," alongside Hill's top songs, such as "This Kiss" and "Breathe." 2. Third Thursday
It's the third Thursday of the month, which means there's plenty going on — such as a film event at the Figge Art Museum, 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport — and specials at restaurants such as Barrel House, Me & Billy and The Phoenix and shops such as Abernathy's, What A Gem and Crafted QC — around downtown Davenport. 3. Free music in Moline
The free Thursday night concert series, hosted by The Moline Centre, continues this week with live music from The Candymakers, a Quad-City- based rock 'n' roll and soul band. The group is slated to perform from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Bass Street Landing on 17th Street in downtown Moline.
4. 'I Love You Because'
"I Love You Because," a modern twist on Jane Austen’s "Pride and Prejudice" set in New York City, ends its run this weekend at The Black Box Theatre, 1623 5th Ave., Moline. 5. Summer walking tour
Looking to brush up on your knowledge of downtown Davenport? The German American Heritage Center & Museum, 712 W. 2nd St., Davenport, is hosting weekly walking tours this summer starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays through Aug. 12.
