Devin Alexander and Al Raymond, who form a Quad-City-based drum-and-bass rock duo called The Post Mortems, play an all-ages show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the River Music Experience Cafe, 129 N. Main St., Davenport.

The show will also feature another locally based band, Satellite Heart, and Mutts, a Chicago-based three-piece group.

“We’re probably influenced most by ’90s alternative rock just because that’s about the time we were teenagers and that stuff was happening,” said Alexander, who plays bass and does vocals. “I don’t think we actually sound like those bands.”

The band has a range from a jazz sound to super-heavy and sludgy industrial music.

“We try to have a lot of dynamic within individual songs and within the set,” Alexander said.
