Although it would have been a beautiful day for outdoor ice skating, the opening of the new Center Ice at Bass Street Landing has been delayed.

The new rink, located in downtown Moline, does not have enough ice made yet to open, Larry Rosmilso, the director of operations, said this morning.

He now anticipates opening the new rink at 10 a.m. Monday. Interested skaters can check the facility’s telephone, at 309-715-1930 for updates.
