CORDOVA, Ill. — Bradley Dean Ainsworth, 43, of rural Cordova, returned to his heavenly father on Dec. 9, 2016, from complications of ALS. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4800 Kennedy Drive, East Moline. Service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Port Byron. In lieu of flowers, donations for a memorial will be appreciated.

Born on Jan. 18, 1973, in Salt Lake City to Dean Ainsworth and Paula Foster, Brad was raised in Riverton and attended Bingham High. He married his high school sweetheart, Angela Mecham, on Oct. 19, 1993, in Las Vegas. They were sealed for all eternity on Dec. 17, 2015, in the Nauvoo, Illinois, temple. Brad and Angela have two children, Kyle and Samantha, and will soon be grandparents to a baby boy.

Brad had an infectious smile and laugh, making everyone happy to be around him. He loved working for FedEx because it allowed him to meet and talk to people. He had a great love for animals and the outdoors and was especially happy while puttering on the farm or baiting Angela’s fishing hooks.

Brad is survived by his wife, Angela; children, Kyle (Nicole) and Samantha; parents; sisters, Kristi (Devin) Scheel, Mindi Ainsworth and Heidi (Chris) Rowe; his best friend, Corey Mecham (Kathleen); in-laws; nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his beloved father-in-law, Clint Mecham, for the loving care he gave Brad throughout his challenges with ALS.

We will miss you, but we will see you again.
