Jack Nunge

It was a season of highs and lows for the 6-11 freshman. The bottom line wasn’t impressive — 5.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game — but the potential is obvious. Very few players his size have the ballhandling and shooting skills that Nunge has. He sometimes was overmatched defensively against smaller, quicker players while playing the small forward position and he’s not quite physical enough when playing under the basket. He needs to add some muscle and develop some confidence, but this is a bright kid who is going to put in the work necessary. Expect him to be the most improved player on the team next season.
