Robert and Karen Frick of Davenport will be honored at an open house on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Friends and relatives may call from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Northgate Place, 1815 E. Kimberly Rd., Davenport.

A brunch will be served. The couple request that gifts be omitted.

Karen Riessen and Robert Frick were married Nov. 3, 1962, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.

Mr. Frick worked at The Schebler Company for 19 years and then became the training coordinator for the Sheet Metal Workers Joint Apprenticship Training Committee Local 91 - Rock Island. Mrs. Frick worked for the Davenport School System.

They are the parents of Scott (Connie) Frick, Edwardsville, Ill.; Kelly (Dan) Barr, DeWitt, Iowa; and Byron (Suzanne) Frick, Johnston, Iowa. Their grandchildren are Greg, Bethany, Kaitlyn Frick; Alex, Samantha, Adam Barr; Madeline and Kyle Frick.
