Burniece Johnson was born September 22, 1916 in Shawnee, Ok. She married Melvin Sebastian of Meeker, Ok in 1938. He passed away in 1956. She married Edwin E. Dipple in Davenport, IA in 1961. He passed away in 1985.
Burniece who was a homemaker and seamstress went to work at Dewey Portland in Buffalo, IA, retiring in 1964 after 8 years. Burniece is a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Blue Grass American Legion.
Her children and their spouses are: Beverly (Gene L.) Young, deceased, (Davenport, IA); Joe (Dee) Sebastian, deceased, (Nichols, IA); and Carolyn Sebastian, deceased.
She has 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren.
