Kelsey Alicia Gross and Andrew James Vandercoy, both of Davenport, IA, were married October 1, 2016 at St. James Lutheran Church, Bettendorf. The Rev. Sandra Daily and Diaconal Minister Terese TouVelle, officiated the 4 pm. ceremony. The reception was held at The University Club, Moline.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Gross, Bettendorf and Jim Gross, Moline. The groom is the son of Linda (Lee) Thoensen, Silvis and the late Jim Vandercoy.
Grandparents of the bride are Roberta Glazier, Geneseo, IL, and the late Art Glazier, Bob and Polly Hancock and Mary Rahn. Grandparents of the groom are Gerald Pogue, Palm Springs, CA, and the late Shirley Pogue, Leonard and Harriet Vandercoy.
Maids of Honor were Keara Gross and Kiley Gross, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kristina Zimmerman and Becky Schumacher, friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Emma Bradley, niece of the groom. Flower girls were Audrey Olmstead and Elizabeth Olmstead, nieces of the groom.
Best man was Grant Zimmerman, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Scott Olmstead and Steve Olmstead, brothers of the groom and Evan Krug, friend of the groom. Ushers were Austin Vann and Mando Murga, friends of the groom.
Reader was Gabrielle Olmstead, niece of the groom. Soloists were Kiley Gross and Thomas Atwood. Greeters were Nolan Bradley, Linden Olmstead, Julian Olmstead, and Alaina Olmstead, nephews and niece of the groom.
Kelsey graduated from Bettendorf High School, St. Ambrose University, and Western Illinois University. She is employed as an Outreach Educator for the Figge Art Museum, Davenport, IA.
Andy graduated from Bettendorf High School, University of Iowa, and Western Illinois University. He is employed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor for Compassion Counseling, Bettendorf, IA.
The couple lives in Davenport, IA. They are planning a honeymoon trip to California in the summer.
