Oakley polarized sunglasses
Sunglass giant Oakley’s Polarized Straight Jacket model combines high-definition optics with plutonite lens material that offers 100 percent ultraviolet, or UV, filtering and impact protection, according to the company.
Polarized sunglasses are popular with outdoors enthusiasts because they reduce the sun’s glare on water and snow. Light reflected from such surfaces typically is horizontally polarized; sunglasses with vertically oriented polarizers help block rays to reduce glare.
The shades, which cost $60, are available in ice blue, as well as black-and-gray and black-and-gold color combinations.
