Want to help a good cause and get free pancakes? Head to IHOP on Tuesday to celebrate National Pancake Day.
Customers who go to participating locations between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on March 7 will get a free short stack of IHOP pancakes. In return, the restaurant is asking diners to make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The national "holiday" began in 2006 and has raised $24 million for charities, according to IHOP's website. Its goal for 2017 is to raise $3.5 million for finding cures and eliminating life-threatening diseases.
