A new wine event “Wine and Rosés on the Grass” is from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at The Blackwatch Room at Pebble Creek in LeClaire.

Faithful Pilot Chef Robert Day is hosting the wine and food event, collaborating with Certified Wine Specialist Anthony Morales and five wine suppliers to open 50 wines from eight countries to sample. Chef Day has also put together a menu of small food bites to pair with the Sparklers, Whites, Rosés, and Reds that will be available to taste. Corey Wallace will provide music.

This is a great opportunity to expand your palate, try new varietals and vintages, learn about wine regions, meet fellow oenophiles and stock your cellar. With 50 wines being presented, remember it is “OK” to spit wines after tasting. Tickets are $25 per person. To reserve a spot, call 563-332-5072.
