The American Red Cross of the Quad-Cities Area will offer pet first aid classes in November and December.

The class is designed to protect pet owners and their pets from further harm, injury or suffering during emergencies. The two-hour class is $20 per person or $30 per couple. The age requirement is 14 years old to attend or 12 years when accompanied by an adult.

Two classes will be offered:

9-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, Quad-City Animal Welfare Center, 724 W. 2nd St., Milan, Ill.

6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, American Red Cross of the Quad-Cities Area, 1100 River Drive, Moline (special program with discounts on pet first-aid kits and books, refreshments provided)
