Sunday, Sept. 17
St. Joseph Church: Fall Festival: 3-7 p.m. at the church, 417 6th Ave., DeWitt, Iowa. A silent auction, craft items, children's games, farmers market, raffles. Also, a beef and pork dinner with carry-out available. Dinner: $10 adults, $5 children 6-12 years.
Saturday, Sept. 23
Rock Island First Church of the Nazarene: 5th annual Craft and Vendor Fair: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 2921 38th St., Rock Island. Crafts, vendors, food, baked goods, silent auction. Proceeds benefit the missions department (NMI) of the local church.
Sunday, Sept. 24
Holiday Helpers: Fall Festival Craft Show: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., DeWitt (Iowa) Community Center, 512 10th St. Handmade items with vendors including twisted wire jewelry, glass works, wood creations, cloth items, wreaths. Lunch will be available for purchase with proceeds going to the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church Nightengals. All proceeds with be donated to DeWitt Referral Center and Elvira Zion Lutheran Church Food Pantry. $1.
St. Mary's Catholic Church: Oktoberfest: 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the church, 2208 4th Ave., Rock Island. Bingo, games (12:30-2:30 p.m.), a raffle, bake sale, silent auction, food and beverages and music by John and Kay Retzl. Police K9, firetruck and children fingerprint ID. Free with charge for some activities.
Sunday, Oct. 1
Elwood Methodist Church: Fall Festival: 4-7 p.m. at the church, 1838 127th St. Bazaar items including bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, bars and some crafts. Dinner: Roast beef, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad, rolls and pies, desserts. Carry-out available. $11 adults, $6 children grades K-6. Proceeds go to the church.
Wednesday, Oct. 4
New Era Lutheran Church: Ye Old Country Store: 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the church, 3455 New Era Road, Muscatine. Arts, crafts, a raffle, and a quilt. Food including noodle dinners and other items priced separately will be available for purchase all day. Proceeds will go to the church.
Friday, Oct. 13
Kahl Home Activity Department and Catholic Service Board: Fall Bazaar and Bake Sale: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Kahl Home, 6701 Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Homemade fall and Christmas items and homemade baked goods including bread and rolls. Lunch available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the Kahl Home.
Saturday, Oct. 21
Beta Sigma Phi: Craft Show: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Galva High School, 1020 N. Center Ave., Galva. Craftspeople from the Midwest displaying hand-crafted seasonal and holiday decorations, candles, wooden items, wreaths, jewelry, toys, dolls and clothes, florals, sweatshirts, garden art, baskets, ceramics, placemats/table runners and pet treats. Apples, pumpkins, gourds, squash, mums and kettlecorn also will be available. Food will be served in the cafeteria. No strollers or pets. $2.
Child Evangelism Fellowship: Craft and Vendor Fair: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Glenview Middle School, 3100 7th St., East Moline. Crafts, vendors, food.
Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 4-5
Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church: Christmas Carousel Bazaar: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 4 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 5 at the church, 4105 N. Division St., Davenport. Homemade and handmade items including Christmas crafts, ceramics, toys, floral arrangements, baskets, doll clothes including American Girl, linens, fall items and a jewelry boutique. Also, a raffle for an American Girl Doll and bake and candy shops. Breakfast items, soups, chicken salad croissants, hot dogs and desserts will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the church.
Edwards Congregational UCC Church: Holiday Craft and Vendor Fair: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the church, 3420 Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Holiday crafters, vendors. Also, a light lunch available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds go to church projects.
Saturday, Nov. 11
Cinderella's Cellar: Annual Christmas Open House: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Cinderella's Cellar Resale Shop, 230 W. 35th St., Davenport. Holiday decorations, Christmas trees, wreaths and gift ideas as well as regular store items of clothing, accessories, household goods, antiques and furniture. Proceeds will benefit the Kahl Home for the Aged and 10 local non-profit organizations.
Sunday, Nov. 12

Friends of the Eldridge Library: Christmas Bake and Craft Sale: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Scott County Library, 200 N. 6th Ave., Eldridge. Homemade baked items and candies, Santas, snowmen, ornaments, other Christmas décor, gifts. Proceeds benefit the activites and programs at the library.
