While unseasonably balmy weather may lure folks outside this weekend in the Quad-Cities, others may want to head inside for the Outdoor Show at the QCCA Expo Center, 2621 4th Ave., Rock Island.

The annual event, which covers fishing, hunting and other outdoor adventures, stretches almost 30 hours over four days:

• 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

• Noon-8 p.m. Friday.

• 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday.

• 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

This year's show will feature three speakers, a mix of professional anglers and hunters, who will make various presentations throughout the weekend.

Speakers will address a wide range of topics, from fishing basics and tackle box setup, to strategies for "awesome" crappie and walleye fishing and hunting dog training.
