Davenport police responded Sunday to two incidents of shots fired, one early in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

The first was about 6:20 a.m. on the 100 block of North Division Street, where police discovered a male with a single gunshot wound resulting in non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a hospital.

A suspect is being sought in connection with the shooting and warrants for that person’s arrest were being requested as of 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Shortly after 3 p.m., police received another call about shots being fired in the area of 7th and Howell streets. A “related scene” was discovered at 3rd and Fillmore, police said. A vehicle was damaged, but no one was injured in the second incident.

An arrest has been made in connection with the incident, police said. Further details were unavailable late Sunday.
