If you have added or upgraded technology in your home, the Rock Island Library's continuing Open Technology Labs could be your solution to a missing instruction manual.

In January, one-on-one technology help is available from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Rock Island Downtown Library, 401 19th St.; Jan. 19 at Rock Island 30/31 Library, 3059 30th St.; and Jan. 26 at Rock Island Southwest Library, 9010 Ridgewood Road.

The labs can provide individualized help with personal devices, general questions, setting up or using email, social media, the internet and library digital services. Tech help is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participants should bring their devices, if possible, and any user names or passwords they will need to log into their account(s).

Rock Island Library has offered drop-in tech help sessions on the second, third, and fourth Fridays of each month since September 2017.

For more information, visit www.rockislandlibrary.org,  call 309-732-READ or follow the library's social media sites.
