Ballet Quad-Cities’ free performances this weekend in Rock Island’s Lincoln Park will show some of the past season’s greatest hits, executive director Joedy Cook says.

“We have picked the best of the best, a wide variety for all audience members,” she added.

Free to the public, the 8 p.m. ballet today and Sunday will feature two examples of pas de deux (French for “steps of two”), one from the storybook ballet “Cinderella” and the other called “Conveyance.”

“It’s just a light, fun pas de deux — very contemporary. The audience can plug into it immediately,” Cook said.

Also featured is a dance to “Moonlight Sonata,” as well as “Delicatessen,” a group number choreographed by Bettendorf native Lynn Bowman.
