A good Monday to all. You're waking up to a little thunder, lightning and scattered showers.

Another hot and muggy day is store for the Quad-City region. But that's what we've come to expect during John Deere Classic week. It's already 73 degrees in the Q-C.

For those heading to the JDC Pro-Am this morning scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible before 10 a.m. Skies will be partly sunny, with a high near 90 degrees. And it will be sticky humid.

Tonight showers and thunderstorms are likely mainly after 4 a.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a low around 72 degrees. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible with higher amounts in thunderstorms.
