This afternoon there is a 70 percent chance of snow showers before 1 p.m. with total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half of an inch. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a high near 41 degrees. Southeast winds will be around 10 mph.

Here's the latest river levels in the area with flood warnings out for all of these rivers.

* Wapsipinicon River - 12.43 feet and holding steady near DeWitt. Flood stage is 11 feet.

* Rock River - 13.64 feet and rising in Moline. Flood stage is 12 feet. Crest: 13.75 feet today.

* Cedar River - 13.27 feet and holding steady in Conesville. Flood stage is 13 feet.

* Iowa River - 19.23 feet and falling in Columbus Junction. Flood stage is 19 feet.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 27 degrees. Southeast winds will be around 5 mph becoming west after midnight.

Friday there is a 20 percent chance of rain after 1 p.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a high near 50 degrees.  

Friday night there is a 30 percent chance of rain before 1 a.m. then a chance of rain and snow. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a low around 29 degrees.
