LeClaire police investigating reports of a missing male juvenile have arrested three people on drug charges, interim police chief Shane Themas said.

Police were notified Nov. 9 that the juvenile may be staying at 806 Falcon Drive, LeClaire. Officers located the juvenile, and he was returned to his mother.

The subsequent investigation led to a search warrant being sought and issued for the Falcon Drive home. The search resulted in three arrests.

Paul V. Zumbrum Jr., 48, was arrested Wednesday and charged with gathering for use of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, all misdemeanors.

Brenda M. Brames, 45, was arrested Wednesday and charged with gathering for use of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and harboring a runaway, all misdemeanors.

Timothy J. Brames, 49, was arrested Wednesday and charged with gathering for use of drugs.

Police list the address for all three at 806 Falcon Drive, LeClaire.

    My guess is that if they had no kids of their own, they must have know his mother. One of the biggest druggies in Scoot County

    Furthermore, It indicates that "Gathering for the use of drugs" is a felony on the Scott County booking roster for these losers. So, you mean to tell me, that when adults gather to use drugs it's a felony, but when you contribute those drugs to a minor it's a misdemeanor. Really???

    The drugs were? How much? The minor was how old? Informative, detailed reporting as usual. And, the Times is now charging for this vague content!!!
