One man was seriously injured Friday after being stabbed during a fight outside the Do-Dah Tap, 702 W. 3rd St., Davenport, police said.
Police were called to the scene at 9:16 p.m.
A suspect in the stabbing was arrested in an alley off Brown Street between 2nd and 3rd streets.
The victim was taken to Genesis Medical Center-East Rusholme Street, Davenport.
The stabbing occurred outside the tavern's back door on Gaines Street. A bloody spot remained on the sidewalk where the man lay.
Police combed the area looking for witnesses to the incident and did not know what sparked the fight that led to the stabbing.
