Attacking Trafficking is planning two conferences dealing with human trafficking.

On Jan. 9, the Rev. Becca Stevens will speak on the care of human trafficking survivors. The conference is open to all, including social workers receiving education units, for $10. This session will take place from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Rogalski Center, St. Ambrose University, Davenport. The first 330 people to register will be accepted. The second conference will be from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, at the Genesis Heart Institute, Adler Education Center, Davenport. Registration for this conference will begin at 7:30 a.m. and presentations will begin at 8 a.m. and continue through 12:15 p.m. The audience for this program is physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other allied health professionals working in the health field.
