1.  The puppet master

Jeff Dunham, the ventriloquist and stand-up comedian who has been performing for decades, is set to take stage this week at the iWireless Center — with his sidekick puppets, of course. On "The Perfectly Unbalanced Tour," Dunham brings comedy, his go-to characters such as Walter, Achmed, Bubba J, Peanut and Jose Jalapeno to the iWireless Center, 1201 River Drive, Moline. 2. A chance for Summer Camp

Summer Camp, the music festival set in Chilicothe, Illinois, isn't until May, but these Quad-City bands are battling for their chance to join the lineup this weekend at the Redstone Room, 129 N. Main St., Davenport. Have Your Cake, Rude Punch, The Candymakers, Earth Ascending and The Dawn will go head-to-head for a paid winning slot at the festival.

3. Get your 'Shine' on

Lolo, the alternative pop musician who recently performed her hit "Shine" on "The Bachelor" is heading to Davenport this week, while on her first tour of the year. 4. Love stories

Gear up for Valentine's Day at the ballet. "Love Stories" is one of the most popular performances by Ballet Quad-Cities, now celebrating its 20th anniversary. The show features Johanne Jakhelln's popular "Chairished," as well as a dessert bar and drinks at Scottish Rite Cathedral, 1800 7th Ave., Moline. Don't forget about the after-party, where you can meet the dancers at The Planning Center, 1615 5th Ave., Moline. Advance tickets are available at balletquadcities.com.

5. A band of heathens

See The Band of Heathens, the high-energy country-rock group on tour in support of its fifth album, "Duende," this week at Daytrotter, 324 Brady St., Davenport. Chicago Farmer, the moniker for Cody Diekhoff, a folk musician from Delavan, Illinois, as well as Jenny Lynn Stacy & The Dirty Roosters will join the lineup. Tickets are available at eventbrite.com.

6. Film night at the Figge

Cinema at the Figge, the monthly film series at the Figge Art Musuem, is back. In the fourth volume of the free event, see the 2006 movie "Children of Men," directed by Alfonso Cuarón, enjoy brews from Wake Brewing, food and live music at the Figge, 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport.

7. An adventure with Doc McStuffins 

A Disney Channel favorite is coming alive at the Family Museum, 2900 Learning Campus Drive, Bettendorf. The Family Museum is the first stop on the touring exhibit, based on "Doc McStuffins," the children's TV show about a girl who can fix toys (with help from her toy friends). Geared for kids ages 2-7, the interactive exhibit invites visitors to become doctors-in-training and includes operating on a toy dragon robot, donning the white coat and staff an emergency room. The museum is open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit familymuseum.org.

8. One-on-one with Keller Williams

With a career spanning 20 years, Keller Williams has collaborated and performed with trios, gospel groups and bluegrass backing bands. For him, a solo concert, where he creates live samples on stage, is rather rare. That's what you'll see this week at the Redstone Room, 129 N. Main St., Davenport. Williams is on tour in support of his latest albums, "Sync" and "Raw," an acoustic record. Advance tickets are available at rivermusicexperience.org.

9. Barstool Boogaloo and brews

Baked Beer and Bread Co., the eatery that unveiled its music venue last week, is hosting a night of Iowa-made beer and tunes. Gorge on craft beers from Des Moines' Exile Brewing Co. and Lion Bridge Brewing Co. of Cedar Rapids, along with live music from Barstool Boogaloo, a Quad-City based acoustic duo at Baked, 1113 Mound St., Davenport.
