at the Bettendorf Public Library

Volunteers of the Scott County Compassion & Choices action team will host a screening of the documentary “How to Die in Oregon” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 in the Gilbert Room at the Bettendorf Public Library, 2950 Learning Campus Drive.

A winner at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011, the film features families and individuals as they come to terms with end-of-life options in response to Oregon’s Death with Dignity Act. A discussion of the film will follow.
