In the Nov. 7 election for Bettendorf City Council's at-large seat, incumbent Lisa Brown pulled ahead of Kylah Rasche and won by a margin of 649-581 votes.

Brown had previously bested Rasche in January when the Bettendorf City Council voted to appoint Brown as the at-large alderman after Gary Mohr resigned to represent District 94 in the Iowa House.

The council's 2nd and 4th Ward seats were also up for re-election, but Aldermen Scott Naumann and Greg Adamson ran unopposed.

In Riverdale's contested City Council race, Paul Dcamp (140) and Anthony Heddlesten (110) took the top two spots over Linda Hupp (31) and Bonnie Grindle (25).

For the LeClaire City Council, the top three spots went to Amy Blair (344), Barry A. Long (326) and John A. Smith (219). Jim Work finished with 95 votes and there were six write-ins.
