Iowa Public Television will host free family pajama parties across Iowa on Friday, Dec. 1, to coincide with the launch of IPTV KIDS .2, a new channel devoted entirely to children's programming.

The local party will be 6:30-8 p.m. at the Family Museum, Bettendorf, and will include a screening of PBS KIDS Family Night programs, a “bedtime” snack of milk and cookies and a souvenir for families to take home. Families are encouraged to wear pajamas and slippers.

The party also will include time to meet and greet Dan Wardell, host of IPTV KIDS Clubhouse.

To register, visit iptv.org/events or call 800-728-2828.

Families who can’t attend are encouraged to host a party of their own. A party planning kit is available for download at iptv.org/families.
