Global Gathering Korea celebrates heritage, culture at Bettendorf Public Library

Throughout October, the Bettendorf Public Library, 2950 Learning Campus Drive, will feature Global Gathering Korea, a series of programs and activities related to Korea and its people.

The two-month celebration of culture, heritage and tradition will include displays of objects and art, and new library materials available for checkout.

Featured programs include a Tae Kwon Do demonstration Saturday, Oct. 28.

IONS-QC focuses on personality today

The Institute of Noetic Sciences Quad-Cities Community Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Bettendorf Public Library.

Meg Bolich and Alice Martin will present “Come Meet Some ‘People on the Street’” about the enneagram, a dynamic personality system that describes nine distinct and different patterns of thinking, feeling and acting.
