A good Columbus Day Monday morning to all. You’re waking up to 35 degrees and fair skies.

Another breezy day is in the works for the Quad-Cities. According to the National Weather Service we can expect sunny skies with a high near 62 degrees. Winds will be from the south at 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

The dry, breezy conditions bring an elevated fire risk this afternoon as the fall harvest continues.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy and breezy with a low around 44 degrees.
