The Greater Quad-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is partnering with local colleges to present candidate forums in Iowa and Illinois.

The Iowa forum, in partnership with St. Ambrose University and Scott Community College, will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at St. Ambrose’s Rogalski Center, 518 W. Locust St., Davenport.

The Illinois forum, in partnership with Black Hawk College’s Student Democrats and Republicans, will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at Black Hawk College, Bldg. 4, 6600 34th Ave, Moline. Parking is available in Building 1 and 3 lots.

Invited participants include candidates for U.S. Congress, state legislature and county offices.

The events will offer a chance for voters to know where the candidates stand on the issues that matter to the Quad-City region.

A voter registration area also will be set up at both events, which are free.
